Hi, my name is Alex Steers and I have a passion for graphic design.
Starting at a very young age I was always drawn towards creating art, just ask my mom about the hundreds of Alex Steers original works that were hung on our kitchen refrigerator. As I grew older, my appreciation for art only increased and became more refined. After high school I attended Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida where I received my Bachelors of Arts degree in 2015. This education provided me the opportunity to explore all facets of graphic design and I eventually found my niche in branding. If I had to name my favorite design program, I would probably say Adobe Illustrator reigns supreme. Other programs I am familiar with are, Final Cut Pro, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Dreamweaver.
After 17 years I grew weary of the lush, vibrant beaches and the sunny, tropical weather that Florida had to offer so I packed up and moved to a more rugged, rural environment, Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
I have a very diverse design background that I've been able to enhance throughout my professional career as a Graphic Artist. Everything from conjuring logos for businesses, designing and managing websites, screen printing apparel, capturing and editing video footage and everything in between, I have experience with it all.
If one were to spend time with me, one of the first things they would probably notice that I am always doing something, staying stagnant is not my forte, which is why graphic design has captured my complete attention from the start. In a field that is ever-evolving, it is imperative to always be learning and improving and I love the challenge of taking my projects, your design needs, to the next level.
As with any graphic designer, a lot of my time is spent in front of a computer screen, but when I need to avoid the bright blue light you can find me to at the skate park, playing lacrosse, golfing, playing guitar or ukulele, snowboarding, or spending time outdoors with my wife, Lauren, our children, Quinn and Canon, and our four legged Frenchie, Rex.
But, enough about me, let's talk about you, your graphic design needs, and how I can make them a reality. Anything from designing stationary for your big event to creating a website for your business and everything in between.
Please check out my work and drop me a message, I would love to work with you.
